MY COACHING STORY
MY BACKGROUND AND WHY I DO WHAT I DO
MY EARLY YEARS
When I was little, I remember running into kids in our neighborhood who were trying to have a lemonade stand. They'd be out for a couple of hours but would have no luck getting people to stop.
One of my favorite things to do was to make signs and waive people down to come and buy their lemonade. I'd help the kids make a menu of drinks and snacks to give their customers and find the best place on the street to set up their stand to get the good traffic.
All that to say is that from as early as I can remember, I've loved helping others succeed at their business!

RECENT EARLY YEARS
From 2012 to 2016 I got to work in office for a local organization and learned the mechanics of administration worked. From 2015 to 2019, my wife and I started our own business where I was able to successfully learn the marketing and sales needed to grow our business. Unfortunately, I was terrible with finances, and bad investment choices led to us having to close our business down.
In February 2020, I began working for a company that helps churches and organizations grow and reach more people. I was able to work with several intelligent executive leaders who helped mentor me and become better at my marketing skills.

TRANSITION INTO BUSINESS COACHING
One thing at my job that discouraged me was seeing how many customers I would build a beautiful, SEO-friendly website for come back a year later and cancel their website service because they were closing down.
I begin to realize even more that having a successful website or advertising strategy wasn't good enough to having a successful business. I remembered how successful my own businesses marketing was, but how my financial mistakes led to my own company closing down.
I decided that I wanted to learn more than just the administrative, marketing and sales principles to growing a successful business. For the next few years, I began to take courses, read books and talk to successful business leaders about growing a successful business. And working for a successful multi-million dollar company has allowed me to apply these principles in real time.
In the last couple of years, I've been able to talk to many small business owners, churches, entrepreneurs and organizations and coach them on how to grow and become successful.

My passion with business coaching is to see others become successful in what they love doing. I 100% believe that everyone has something they love doing, are skilled at and could do as a full time job. My purpose is to help others discover what they love doing and turning it into a full time business that adds value to others.

My business coaching model
My model for business coaching includes things like helping my customers clarify their offering, develop a messaging and sales strategy, leveraging online platforms to get more business, and to be financially stable by developing a financial strategy.
I do this by offering a variety of different services and resources including individual coaching, monthly cohort meetings and several bootcamp trainings through out the year.
I always provide a free coaching session for new customers, with no obligation to continue if they prefer not to.
